Public Transportation
Visit Ride RFTA for route and schedule information.
Please view the “Burlingame/Hwy 82” transit line which provides service from Rubey Park to the Burlingame Ranch housing complex via Hwy 82. This route is a convenient option for reaching the Aspen X-Country Center or Buttermilk Mountain.
Daily: 6:35 a.m. - 12:20 a.m.
Outbound: Departs Rubey Park at :20 & :50 from 7:20 a.m. - 12:20 a.m.
Inbound: Departs Burlingame at :05 & :35 from 6:35 a.m. - 11:35 p.m.

RFTA’s fixed route services are accessible for mobility devices. All of RFTA’s fixed route buses are lift or ramp equipped eliminating the need to climb stairs to board the bus
Paratransit Services
RFTA also operates ADA Complementary paratransit service for eligible passengers within a ¾ mile radius of existing fixed routes. Use of these services is dependent upon meeting eligibility requirements. ADA Complementary paratransit must be scheduled in advance. Please visit the RFTA website for more information.
Driving/Parking
Up in the Sky Festival has very limited ADA parking spots online available on a first-come, first-served basis at Buttermilk on Owl Creek Road. Vehicles must display a state-issued handicapped plate or placard. The person to whom the placard or plate is issued must be present in the vehicle, as a driver or passenger. For additional parking options, including the Downtown Core, residential areas, the Rio Grande Parking Garage, and Brush Creek Park & Ride, please visit the City of Aspen’s website.
ADA Rideshare/Drop-off
Our official passenger drop off and pick up location is: 38700 CO-82, Aspen, CO, 81611
Please follow festival signage and festival staff when turning onto Buttermilk off of Owl Creek Rd., staff will direct you to the appropriate lot.
Biking
Complimentary bike parking at the festival is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bike Safety Reminder
Please stay alert, ride safely, and share the road, these are public bike paths. Helmets and bike lights are strongly encouraged.

Accessible Shuttles
There are Wagner Park, Snowmass, and Brush Creek Park & Ride shuttle services available for all Ticketholders. All shuttles are complimentary and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Wagner Park Shuttle Route:
Shuttles from Wagner park in downtown Aspen to Up In The Sky Festival depart daily between 2:30 PM and 8:15 PM. All festival guests can utilize these shuttles to get to the festival grounds daily. Get back on at the end of the night for a return trip to the same spot. Limited Accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis and may include a fee.
Snowmass Shuttle Route
Shuttles from the Snowmass Mall, Base Village and Rodeo Lot to Up In The Sky Festival depart daily between 2:30 PM and 8:15 PM. All festival guests can utilize these shuttles to get to the festival grounds daily. Get back on at the end of the night for a return trip to the same spot. Limited Accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis and may include a fee.
Brush Creek Park & Ride
Shuttles from the Brush Creek Lot Park and Ride to Up In The Sky Festival depart daily between 2:30 PM and 8:15 PM. All festival guests can utilize these shuttles to get to the festival grounds daily. The Brush Creek Park & Ride is complimentary. Accessible parking spots in the Brush Creek lot are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Get back on at the end of the night for a return trip to the same spot.
